Diar is a non-profit platform established in 2014 through the collaboration of a group of artists and led by Siavash Sufinejad. Its mission is to promote art, culture, cinema, and society through a variety of initiatives. The platform draws inspiration from the word Diar (Homeland), which signifies a place where specific cultural, historical, and spiritual values are preserved. This term is also associated with concepts such as water, soil, and cultural heritage.
Diar strives to create new connections between artists, filmmakers, and art lovers globally by showcasing the dynamics and continuous evolution of Middle Eastern art, culture, and cinema on an international stage. The platform views both art and film as universal bridges for communication among people, transcending geographical boundaries.
