Diar is a non-profit platform established in 2014 through the collaboration of a group of artists and led by Siavash Sufinejad. Its mission is to promote art, culture, and society through a variety of initiatives. The platform draws inspiration from the word Diar ( Homeland ),which signifies a place where specific cultural, historical, and spiritual values are preserved. This term is also associated with concepts such as water and soil and cultural heritage.
Diar strives to create new connections between artists and art lovers globally by showcasing the dynamics and continuous evolution of Middle Eastern art and culture on an international stage. The platform views art as a universal bridge for communication among people, transcending geographical boundaries. It aims to build a future where the creativity of Middle Eastern artists can flourish without limitations, ensuring that the voices of all artists who capture the essence of art are heard and contribute to the cultural richness of humanity.
